"Reflex" is the debut record by Human Growth born out of rehearsal room jamming and a team of collective songwriters using aggressive sounds as a guide for musical direction. The creative process for this album was simply the physical nature of getting into a room and sharing ideas, having conversations, recording improvised or pre-written musical ideas, listening back and making decisions with what makes sense and what harmonizes within us. The album was developed with a strong sense of urgency due to time constraints and a worldwide pandemic... during this short period all of our actions became very decisive and by nature, the album is defined by our reflexes in writing, playing & producing.
